'The Beatles in Australia' Exhibition presents the sights and sounds of Beatlemania -- the arrivals, the press conferences, the concerts and the screaming fans – through newsreel footage, television reports, radio coverage, magazines and press clippings. It looks at how Australians responded to The Beatles and the tour’s lasting impact on Australian music and culture.
This project was a redesign of an existing exhibition poster featuring 'The Beatles in Australia' found in Melbourne, Australia with a strong focus on their iconic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club period. The overall design of the poster employed the use of bold and vibrant colours and features character illustrations of every band member. In addition to the event poster, a set of four exclusive pin badges were produced as a suggestion to support the exhibition.
